HOW MUCH IS THAT WEIRD THING IN THE WINDOW? I found an odd creature just yesterday, or did it find me? I really can't say. It had black patchy fur, a striped bushy tail, and shoes it had bought at a rummage sale. It didn't eat much, it never wore clothes, and liked to be watered with a garden hose. It grew when it thought we were going someplace, and shrank when it had to wash its own face. I had a suspicion my new pet was lost, and something that weird, well, you know what they cost. I posted an ad in the lost and found that got me results and brought someone around. Our doorbell announced on that lucky day ten more of these creatures had come our way! |
